2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit the website, Strato processes technically necessary access data (server log files), including IP address, date and time of access, the page accessed, the amount of data transferred and the browser used. This data is used to ensure trouble-free operation and to evaluate system security and stability, and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and stable operation of the website. Log files are stored only as long as necessary for this purpose. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Strato.

3. Contact and email mailbox

If you contact us by email or via the form provided on this website, your details (first name, last name, email address, company, message text) are processed to handle your inquiry. The fields marked as mandatory in the form are required so that we can process and answer your inquiry; without them we cannot handle it.

The form transmits your details server-side by email to kontakt@kudiso.de; this is done via a script running on our own web space, without involving an external form service. Your details are not stored beyond this in any database on this website. We operate the mailbox kontakt@kudiso.de with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Incoming emails and form inquiries are received and stored there. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft. Where data is transferred to third countries (in particular the USA), this is based on the safeguards provided by the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing your request, where applicable preparing a contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to contact inquiries). We delete your inquiry once it has been fully handled and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial and tax law) apply.

4. Fonts

This website uses the fonts Inter and Manrope. The font files are served locally from our own server; no connection is made to Google's or any other third-party servers. No personal data is transmitted to third parties in this process.

5. Web analytics (Plausible Analytics)

We use the web analytics service Plausible Analytics provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. Plausible works without cookies and without storing or reading information on your device, and does not create personal user profiles. When you open a page, a script from plausible.io is loaded; for technical reasons your IP address is transmitted to Plausible in the process. According to the provider, the IP address is not stored but only used briefly to calculate a daily-changing anonymous identifier. The analysis covers, among other things, the page visited, the origin of the visit (referrer), browser, operating system, device type and approximate location (country or region). According to the provider, the data is processed on servers in the European Union.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and improvement of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since no access to your device within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG takes place, no consent is required for this. Plausible is engaged as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Further information: Plausible's data policy. You may object to this processing at any time (see section "Right to object").

6. Visitor identification (Leadfeeder)

With your consent, we use the Leadfeeder service (Dealfront Group GmbH, Durlacher Allee 73, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany) to identify the companies from which this website is visited. Leadfeeder matches the IP address of a visit against a company database via reverse-IP lookup, processing data including the IP address, approximate location, pages visited and time spent. The aim is to attribute visits to companies, not to individual persons; for sole traders or freelancers, however, the attribution may still relate to an identifiable person.

The tracking script (sc.lfeeder.com) is loaded only if you have previously given consent via our cookie banner. The legal basis for the processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and for the associated access to information on your device § 25(1) TDDDG. Without your consent the script is not technically loaded. Data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its purpose; statutory retention obligations may lead to longer storage. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in this website's footer.

7. Storage of your cookie choice

We store your decision in the cookie banner in your browser's local storage (localStorage, entry "kudiso_consent") so that the banner does not reappear on every page view and your choice can be evidenced. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the consent management you request (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG); the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR. The entry remains in your browser until you delete it or change your choice via the "Cookie settings" footer link.

8. Newsletter (Brevo)

You can subscribe to our newsletter via our Insights section. We inform you by email about new articles on sales topics for IT service providers. Sign-up uses a double opt-in process: after entering your email address, you receive a confirmation email with a confirmation link; only after clicking this link are you added to the list. To evidence your consent, we store the time of sign-up and confirmation as well as the IP address transmitted at that time. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); evidencing the consent is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR).

Delivery is handled by the service provider Brevo SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. On pages with the sign-up form, a script from sibforms.com (Brevo) is loaded when the page is opened; your IP address is transmitted to Brevo in the process. We store your data until you unsubscribe; afterwards we remove your email address from the list and keep the proof of consent for as long as necessary to defend against claims. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email.

9. Recipients of your data

Depending on your use of the website, recipients of personal data are the service providers named in this policy: STRATO GmbH (hosting), Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (email mailbox), Plausible Insights OÜ (web analytics), Dealfront Group GmbH (Leadfeeder, only with consent) and Brevo SAS (newsletter). Beyond that, we pass on data only where we are legally obliged to do so.

10. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR); the lawfulness of processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected. To exercise your rights, a message to kontakt@kudiso.de is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HBDI), Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.

11. Right to object

Where we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. An objection can be sent informally to kontakt@kudiso.de.
